This really is the last insect eaten flower of the summer!

Have a great weekend! It’s a long one here for Hallow’een, so no work til Tuesday.   :-)

You’d imagine I loved Hallow’een! In fact, I hate it. Not the actual meaning of the festival (Happy New Year to all us Celts!), but I don’t like scary costumes. However, it seems the country is getting in the Hallow’een feel of things. Yesterday we’d crows and today we’ve fog.

Idle Towers

This is the Elysian complex. It’s the tallest building in Ireland. It’s full of apartments, offices, restaurants……and…..it’s almost completely empty. One of the many casualties of the recession. Hence the name The Idle Towers! This morning was so foggy, you couldn’t see the top of it properly. I plan on taking more shots of it again in daylight.

I was a little bit earlier today and as I was crossing a bridge on the way to work I saw this. I didn’t have my camera, but it turns out my mobile phone camera isn’t too bad! Luckily, in Cork, we haven’t had the terrible rain that they had in other parts of the country. I know I moaned about the weekend, but we’re much better off than these people.
