The busy week is over! As a result though, this week’s Macro Friday shot is a bit of a lazy one. Mum had this rose from the garden and seeing as everything in our garden is dead, this is the shot! There are two edited versions of it. Let me know which one you prefer!
Black and white
Have a lovely weekend!
This week I’ve really noticed the shortening of the day. I arrive at work before sunrise and leave well after sunset.
Remembering the sunset in Agadir, Morocco last year.
Don’t you just love when you check the weather reports and there are little red warning triangles with ! in them? And then you check the traffic reports and they’re full of flood warnings, gale warnings and road closures due to fallen debris? Yah, I thought not! We’re in the middle of a storm that might take a break on Sunday, it being a day of rest and all, and then continue until Tuesday. FUN!
This leaves very little for me to photo because it’s dark by mid- afternoon. Here’s my Macro Friday entry over on bloggingfrombolivia.com.
I’m a small bit obsessed with keeping the new cutlery shiny!
To cheer myself up, I’ve started using the Christmas cups and put a “few” decorations up!
I’m trying to figure out how I could justify keeping them up all year….. Suggestions welcome!
I love the way the candle shines through the holes in this.
Anyway, have a good weekend. Anyone reading in Ireland, batten down the hatches!
I was passing the graffiti park the other day and I had to shoot this before it’s painted over! I didn’t have my camera with me because the weather wasn’t good. I need a sunny day to show off the colours there!
I’m taking credit for the photo not the street art!
The sun shining on the fruit bowl.
