WordPress Phonography Challenge: Lunchtime
The WordPress Phonography Challenge this week is Lunchtime. As today is Friday, I usually finish work a little early, but have lunch later than usual! So, it was 3pm, wet and cold, and I was hungry. Everyone was getting ready to celebrate our national day with a holiday weekend. The pubs were already full with people watching the Irish win at Cheltenham. All I wanted was soup and I knew where I might get some with butternut squash inside. Off to Orso I went, and yes, there was butternut squash on the menu! Happy me!
I love their menu, the fact that they use local produce and have their own beer! I also really love the cute little milk bottles they use instead of a run-of-the-mill jug.
Then my soup arrived. Butternut squash, fennel and carrot. Yum!
On my way home I stumbled upon this levitating leprechaun!
I’ve no idea how he did it, but after I took his photo, he gave me this…
A lovely end to lunchtime.

Yummy soup!
It really was!
What a lovely way to end your working week. I love pumpkin soup and I make it a lot in Winter. Delish!
Lovely! I just love orange soup!
Me too, full of goodness and so tasty.
Butternut is my favourite soup to make!
love the levitating leprechaun
He was pretty cool!
What is in the white bottle on the table please?
It’s milk!
I thought so but then I thought NO- love the retro aspect- I grew up with milk like this- wistful. ….

I loved my time in Ireland, though short, made such a huge impression on me. I am looking to take up hurling this summer and looking to visit again. Thanks for the photos!
